Winter Dene Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for three nights over the scorching Easter weekend and had lovely time. The owners could not have been more welcoming. and helpful. Everything was catered for at breakfast (including Easter eggs on the Sunday) - which was a really nice touch for adults and children alike! Nice clean room, comfy (huge) bed, location really handy for beach and town and food delicious. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a memorable weekend.

The wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel last weekend. What can we say it was fantastic hotel. The location was excellent, and the hosts were extremely welcoming. It was a delightful stay, and the room was one of the best we have ever had. I have no hesitation in awarding this hotel 10 out 10. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Throughly recommend

The hotel was clean and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating, they were around at all times and ready to help or chat ;) (they were able to get us an extra blanket when we needed one :) ). There was a good number of breakfast options available, so if you get bored easily you have nothing to worry about. Our room had a huge comfortable bed and plenty of storage space (perfect for longer stays). Bathroom was modest but clean and equipped. There was both a fan and a portable heater in the room. It was also very quiet which made the stay peaceful and relaxing and is much appreciated. Plus the building is beautiful and surrounded by well maintained flowers adding color and life to the view.

The management team and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was huge and excellent! The beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of storage space in the room by way of a wardrobe (complete with safe) and two large sets of drawers. Parking is available on site with plenty of room to do a 3-point turn in a Volvo XC90. The hotel is in an excellent location for the beach and town centre. Rooms were cleaned daily, and tea/coffee/condiments were topped up daily without us needing to ask (unlike many large hotel chains I could mention). We would definitely recommend the Winter Dene, and look forward to returning. My son was fascinated by the owner's mineral display cabinet...and was overjoyed to be given a big lump of quartz the following morning by the hotel manager.

Such a fabulous stay at the Winterdene. Beautiful and clean room with lots of space with lovely paintings dotted around the hotel. It felt more like a home in a good way than a hotel. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and we had a lovely view of the garden whilst eating. The place was spotless- couldn't fault it. Easy walk to the beach and the town centre and parking at the hotel too.

Lovely hotel, Renzo is charming and very witty, keeping the guests amused during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, I had cereal, and full English. Tasty, cooked to perfection, and very hot. My wife had scrambled eggs and salmon, again beautifully cooked and tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel, close enough to easily walk to the beach or central Bournemouth. Gardens are beautiful, rooms very spacious and comfortable, a credit to the owners. Loved staying at this hotel.

We had such a beautiful stay at Winter Dene, that we actually booked an extra night to stay on. The proprietors were very friendly and Renzo was always hilarious at breakfast, which by the way was absolutely gorgeous. The Hotel was very clean, large rooms, also very quiet. The location was great, a short walk to either the Beach or the Town Centre. We will definitely be returning when we are in Bournemouth. This Hotel should be Rated as a 5*. Many thanks Rob & Tracey

I had such a lovely birthday staying at the Winter Dean Hotel! Not only did I walk into a beautiful building and meet our lovely host Heather but I was also surprised with a birthday card and chocolates all gift wrapped as soon as I walked into our room. This was excellent customer service with a human approach which I appreciated so much. We were also given a guide by Heather with all of the local amenities - she provided us with a few options of where to eat that are popular and the quickest route to go to the beach (which is only a 5 minute walk). I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I can’t wait to go back here again. Once again, thank you Heather for your amazing customer service and making my birthday more special! One of the best hotels I have experienced by far!
